I hold an M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from JSS AHER, Mysuru, and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics from Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore. My academic journey has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying various biological processes. My M.Sc. dissertation at the Human Genetics Department of NIMHANS focused on investigating the genetic underpinnings of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), which is the one of the top three most common neurodegenerative diseases exhibiting Parkinsonism after Parkinson's Disease (PD) and Alzheimer’s disease (AD). My research involved evaluating the genetic variants of immunogenes in PSP patients based on an Asian-Indian population.My academic journey has been driven by a deep passion for understanding molecular mechanisms, which I aim to harness to advance scientific knowledge. I have honed my expertise in a variety of cutting-edge techniques and have a solid foundation in molecular biology, genetics, and neurodegenerative diseases.
