I have spent more than two decades in the field of publishing, and I have extensive experience in content design and creating learning-teaching resources for students and teachers. Even though I have taken up different roles through my career, I have consistently stayed in the field of school education as I strongly believe that school education, especially primary school education, is extremely essential for children to become rational, responsible and free-thinking adults and importantly, good human beings. I have spent more than 22 years in the field of education, mostly as a school textbook publishing professional and in the field of education development (mainly teacher training for government schools). Apart from being well-versed with the processes of publishing and the related aspects of the publishing industry (including permissions and rights management), I enjoy project planning and execution and working with external stakeholders. I have also worked with various state education departments to deliver teacher training projects and that was an immensely satisfying experience. I especially enjoy working for the ELT market, which has been one of my areas of specialization. I also like to design and develop content for children. I like to conceptualize and create courses for young learners, making their journey of learning and growing enjoyable and exciting.
