I hold fiscal responsibility and oversee logistics, event coordination, budgeting and strategic planning. As part of my role, I manage venue selection, presenter coordination and travel arrangements.► Directed full-scale coordination of 100+ attendee annual retreats and conferences in California and Georgia. ► Served as Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator for the Workforce Development Aging and Community Services (WDACS). Advised on staffing, team building, professional development, training and grief counseling.► Hired to consult on diversity and inclusion initiatives for Vietnamese Employees Association of Los Angeles County (VEALAC).

I acted as administrator for continuum of housing programs including short-term and emergency, transitional and permanent supportive housing (PSH) for the homeless population. ► Supported strategic priorities and goals by supporting daily program operations and development efforts. ► Prioritized resources in adherence with state and federal public health guidelines.► Ensured accurate accounting by maintaining an interagency record database with agencies such as Los Angeles Homelessness Authority and the St. Joseph Center.► Verified complete, timely and accurate data entry and maintenance of program-required data systems.

I conducted training seminars for reentry, criminal justice, veterans, unsheltered, developmentally delayed and foster youth populations and aligned with specific workforce needs and business goals. ► Upskilled and reskilled adult workers by delivering custom training and professional development curricula.► Facilitated training and development for over 120 entry level participants annually at Community Centers, Incorporated. ► Organized essential retreats for Board of Directors by securing ideal locations and services to create a unique wellness experience.

During my time, I directed all operational and financial functions of the National Foster Grandparent Program, including administering federally funded budget of $400K. I directly supervised two staff members and led budget development and oversight, grant development, public relations, community relations, expenditure authorization and submission of program reports. As part of my scope, I also managed orientation, training and onboarding activities for incoming foster grandparents. ► Ensured proper use of resources by evaluating the effectiveness of operational procedures across 25 projects. ► Defined, documented, implemented, and tracked program-specific policies, procedures, standards and metrics.► Ensured federal, state and local procedure and policy compliance related to reporting and recordkeeping activities by implementing internal procedural changes.► Formed and nurtured cooperative working relations with community service agencies and organizations such as Mount Saint Mary’s Child Development Center, Wayfinder Family Services, Shields for Families, Normandie Christian School, Girls Club of Los Angeles, The Accelerated School, Watts Learning Center, Harbor Hills Housing Development After School Program, Drew Child Development Corporation, Hooper Primary Center, Teach Tech Charter High School, Inner City Education Foundation Public Schools, Hoover Inter-generational Care, Inc., The Salvation Army, USC Kinder 2 College, Foundation for Early Childhood Education, Inc. and Today’s Fresh Start Charter Schools.
