My role in this and the subsequent 2nd year interdisciplinary project, Engineering You’re Hired (EYH), was to influence the embedding of employability skills and foster engagement of industry. Project Manager for a series of European funded projects to develop training material for the new European Codes of Practice. (funding value 1.5 million Euro).I was responsible for compiling the applications, determining and monitoring the project programmes, directing project activities, management and co-ordination of pan-European academic and industrial partners, financial management and reporting to the European Commission.
