    During the Spring term, I taught a Sentencing Reform Lab, which enabled upperclassmen to understand the critical dynamics of AL's public safety issues and how they are impacted by prison overcrowding. This fall I am teaching Judicial Law and Policy course, which examines methods ofjudicial selection, the oversight of judicial misconduct, and the undermining of the court system by funding shortages. Each of these issues impacts the fairness, independence and impartiality of the courts.
