I began my career in Penticton BC working for Penticton and District Community Resources Society then McNaugton Support Services and Axis Services for Youth at risk. I have experience working with people with diverse abilities, substance abuse issues and mental health disorders. I worked for Kindale Developemtal Society for 10 years and also for Okanagan College as an Education Assitant in Salmon Arm. I moved to beautiful Nelson BC last year and work for Nelson C.A.R.E.S Society as a Community Support Worker. I am a certified Mandt Instructor and strive to live the philosophy I teach. I am a passionate advocate for people with diverse abilities and am currently working on completing my Bachelor of Social Work.
