I have worked in the public sector for most of my working life. I honed my communication skills in banking and Local Government, finding that I am happy working with both children and adults and enjoy going the 'extra mile' to ensure outcomes are mutually acceptable, where ever possible. My love of technology and enabling others to make the most of what is available from an early age has been so exciting, as the digital world is constantly evolving. My focus has been on what it can do - not how it happens. I am no technician! I have always tried to deliver exciting and inclusive sessions, so that everyone can share my enthusiasm.I have had the priviledge of supporting colleagues where I have worked, such as being a School Governor, a conduit for staff wellbeing, and working with local bodies such as Neighbourhood Watch, the Police, local councils/councillors and different local newspapers/publications. I enjoy working independently but have always had roles where I have input with different teams. What next? I would like to put my skills to use a couple of days a week, ideally helping an organisation make the best of what they do. I am a clear- sighted organiser, with empathy. I am honest and reliable and approach tasks cheerfully.
