About Sue Carter Mba

After a career of nearly 40 years in Banking, set up my own consultancy business in 2021. As an independent advisor, work with a small portfolio of UK law firm clients after having advised law firms since 1993. In 2011 was appointed to a senior leadership role within Clydesdale Bank PLC as UK Head of Professional Services Sector where I advised on topics such as succession planning, mergers acquisitions and disposals, coping strategies, funding solutions/balance sheet restructuring. In 2008 I achieved an MBA in Legal Practice Management which also gives me credibility when speaking with law firms. In addition, I was a lay Member on Law Society of Scotland (LSS) Council, a position held for 10 years and was also elected to LSS Board until April 2024. Also sat on their Nominations Committee. I am now a Non-Executive Director of Switalskis Solicitors, and sit on other law firm Management Boards.
