Parents with children on the Autism Spectrum face a unique set of challenges as they seek to both parent and advocate for their children. I have training and personal experience that can help parents deal with these challenges. I provide coaching, which can be done face to face or online.I am certified through: KCART as a Parent Support and Training provider, an Autism Specialist, and as an Individual Intensive Services provider Kansas Leadership Center as a Leadership Coach

• Lead Case Manager: Supervised staff and volunteers, managed budgets, submitted reports, managed food pantry and clothing closet, facilitated classes, created schedules, provided Emergency Assistance case management• Emergency Assistance Case Manager: Assisted low-income families with payment to Landlords and/or utilities, one on one budgeting, referrals to community partners

Develop Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I provided Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism. I was Team Leader, implementing the programs developed by the Autism Specialist, making certain that each team member carried out each program systematically and consistently. I created data sheets, collected data, and made reports for the Autism Specialist. I conducted the Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS) for clients. (AFLS is a comprehensive assessment which measures and quantifies a person's ability to carry out living skills, in the home and community.)

I supervised the Stage Managers, Recording Technicians, and the Midi/Computer Laboratory at Beach Music Hall at Emporia State University. I developed and implemented a new training system, which "cross trained" Stage Managers and Recording Technicians on both jobs, so that all performances would be recorded. I created schedules for both the Stage Managers/Recording Technicians and Lab Monitors. The Lab was open at predictable times and Lab usage increased.Because this particular Graduate Teaching Assistant position transitions frequently without the benefit of training or information transfer, I developed a Policy and Procedure Manual, both in hard copy and flash drive. The electronic form informed the GTA supervisor of the details of the job requirements, as well as created a format for future GTA's to expand upon as new technology and job demands present themselves.

I contributed articles to The Emporia Gazette about local happenings.

I foster parented children, often at a Therapeutic level. I worked hard to keep children in my home until they either returned home to their family of origin, or moved on to their adoptive family.

I taught both Middle School (6th -8th grade) and High School (9th -12tth grade) bands. The High School had a marching band which performed at all football games. I also taught 5th grade music and 8th grade music appreciation.
