I recently retired as an Integration Technology Specialist in the Bedford Public Schools, Bedford, MA. I worked in two schools, the Davis Primary School and the High School. In the primary school I worked with teachers and their students to use computers, cameras and digital microscopes to enhance all aspects of learning. At the high school I helped teachers develop projects and also train their students to use the applications necessary to complete the projects.I created ongoing staff development opportunities, both informal and formal for groups of teachers. I introduced Moodle and Google Apps to our district's network and have watched as other teachers have used its online capacities.Specialties: Developing, writing and facilitating original online classes for K-12 teachers using the Moodle Platform is a current specialty. I like to promote the use of Web 2.0 tools in these classes for both teachers and their students. I facilitate originally written classes through the EDCO Collaborative and also through EDC/MassCUE online offerings. I am an adjunct instructor with Framingham State.I am an avid boogie boarder. I am a photographer and also create small videos. I enjoy figure drawing.
