Working on the project to save £350m through global performance improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include analysing reorganisation costs and reporting them to senior management, preparing quarterly forecasts, monthly management procedures and ad hoc reporting.

Responsible for internal audit of stock control, review of internal controls in the warehouse and various monthly management account procedures, analysing daily sales and daily orders, supervising the preparation of cashbook and bank reconciliations. Responsible for preparing forecasts and review of financial information.

The primary focus was the provision of Lead Advisory services to the mid market privately owned business; specifically advising on transactions including MBOs and MBIs, corporate acquisitions and disposals and the raising of private equity and development capital.

Responsibilities included developing and writing procedures for daily finance functions and project work for the head of finance. Specific projects included identifying the key risks in relation to the procedures for accounting for interest, preparing the budget and reporting to Hong Kong, liaising with department heads regarding revenue and expenditure and developing budget spreadsheets.

Responsible for all aspects of transaction work. I have a range of experience of transaction service assignments, primarily transaction evaluation due diligence (identifying the key financial and non-financial risks) and vendor due diligence. Working to very tight deadlines. My commitment and resilience are demonstrated by my willingness to meet the deadlines by working the necessary hours and working in very difficult environments due to the confidentiality of the transactions.
