• Responsible to 15 member board of directors• Supervision of 32 staff• Oversight of $7.5 million budget comprised of federal grants and corporate funding sources• Expanded membership training and resources to include emphasis on safe use of technology, economic empowerment and organizational development• Oversaw development of a financial education curriculum specific to battered women that has been implemented in 32 states• Acted as the national spokesperson including appearances on Dr. Phil, Good Morning America, Nancy Grace, CNN, NPR and numerous local media outlets• Expanded agency reach by engaging a broader and more diverse group of stakeholders in legislative initiatives• Convened corporate leaders and foundation leaders to leverage resources and advance common goals to serve women and girls
