My passion is to encourage and empower people of all ages and abilities to achieve their individual goals by partnering with horses. As a former Oncology Nurse, foster mom, and volunteer at a center for homeless folks with HIV, I have learned to focus on the person rather than their physical or emotional challenges. My work as a co-founder and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning at Courageous Connections, has allowed me to witness life changing interactions between humans and horses. It is truly inspiring to watch our participants develop both life skills and horsemanship proficiency as they go through our program.
