As an ED nurse at IU Health Arnett in Lafayette, IN, my responsibilities are to triage and assess each patient that presents themselves for care. The ED responsibilties are the same as at IU Health. Renal/Oncology was a unit designed to care for patients with acute and chronic kidney failure and other issues, often requiring hemo and peritoneal dialysis. The other aspect of the unit is for those cancer patients usually requiring inpatient chemo and/or further testing of their condition.As a case.

In some cases it can be the administration of medications, short and long term, administering nebulizer breathing treatments, treating injuries on the playground, gym or from horse play.
