Performs tasks supportive to delivery of patient care in assigned departments under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Perform a range of clerical duties that support the operations of the unit, act as unit receptionist greeting and directing visitors, assemble patient charts, answer unit telephone and transfer calls, ensure information is transmitted between nursing personnel, other hospital personnel, physicians, patients, family members and other guests, assist in entering patient information in Meditech computer system.
