Led fundraising efforts with foundations, federal agencies and corporations for $2M annual budget. Led outreach and communications efforts. Coordinated and partnered with state organizations. Monitored state impacts from federal legislation and briefed congressional staff on state actions. Engaged with federal agencies and labs. Managed staff, oversaw hiring and conducted performance reviews. Spoke at state, regional and national forums. Served on external advisory boards (Forth Mobility, Keystone Energy Board, Executive Committee for State Energy Efficiency Action Network, liaison to Institute for Building Technology and Safety, EPRI Advisory Group on Energy Efficiency and Smart Grid). Areas of focus included: energy, transportation electrification, climate change and resiliency, power sector modernization, smart states, clean energy financing, outdoor recreation.
