Sue is researching Adult Learning in a Virtual World and examines student experiences of engagement, collaboration and immersion from their learning in a virtual world. The research explores Adult Learning Theories and is a collection of student reactions to their learning with the emerging field of a virtual world. Since 2008 students have been given the opportunity to explore the educational potential of the virtual world of Second Life as a teaching and learning tool. Over 500 students have taken up the opportunity to explore value of teaching and learning in a virtual world with Sue (aka Jass Easterman).
