As part of my role, I lead strategies on how to collect and interpret the customer's "voice," including identifying appropriate programs to bring to market, and engaging various stakeholders throughout the process. I work closely with the various leadership teams across VEIC to help deliver our mission through strategic direction and business objectives. Tetra Tech is a global organization with more than 25,000 employees worldwide. The Madison, Wisconsin office specializes in DSM program evaluation and policy analysis, as well as data analytics and customer journeys, providing clients with insightful and actionable research to improve performance, where its clients benefit from in-house data collection capabilities. As a Senior Director at Tetra Tech, I honed my experience in energy efficiency and renewable energy markets. As a thoughtful, solutions-focused director, I worked on state and national policy, business development, budgeting, subcontractor negotiations, and client development and relationships. I was, and still am, driven to help my utility clients leverage their energy efficiency and renewables programs to also attain sustainability and climate action goals. I am fluent in several different working languages, including Strategy, Metrics, and Planning. I am experienced in business strategy and development, stakeholder engagement, organizing effective teams, developing and coordinating data collection efforts, implementing quality control processes, mentoring staff, and maintaining project schedules on-time and on-budget. I was responsible for achieving energy savings, profitability, and client satisfaction goals for my assigned accounts. To accomplish this, I worked to develop effective working relationships with current and prospective clients that resulted in a clear understanding of my clients' needs and expectations. Additionally, I undertook numerous business development activities to help position WECC to effectively and efficiently deliver energy efficiency programs and acquire new business contracts that matched WECC’s desired client profile.

I managed Wisconsin Focus on Energy's Single Family Homes Programs, which included creating pilot programs, managing and continuously improving existing programs, and tracking achievements to ensure the meeting of accountabilities. Additionally, I facilitated long-term program planning, the development and ongoing evolution of program standards and protocols, and identifying market research and development needs.

I managed custom market research projects for electric and gas utilities, manufacturers, and government organizations. I engaged in responding to project RFP’s, developed and tracked project budgets, and worked as part of a team to allocate staff. Additionally, I contributed to the development of Energy Insights’ Renewable Energy Strategic Service and Distributed Energy Strategic Service through active business development engagements (onsite customer visits, conference attendance, presentations, etc.), and through conducting both primary and secondary research, assembling information, and pulling it all together into concise, cohesive reports.
