OK, so maybe being a grandmother is not a full time job but family is certainly important! I am taking time out for my wonderful family who have been very patient with my long work hours lately. Who knows what the future will hold.....

AECL is a small unlisted public, not-for-profit company, as such the finance side takes up only half my time. The rest of my time is devoted to managing the Corporate services and undertaking Company Secretarial duties.Before working for AECL the only thing I knew about eggs, was how to cook them. Now I understand how much more there is to the production and promotion of this great nutrient rich, low fat, cost-effective protein food. I still enjoy cooking and eating eggs!

At Moore College I managed the Finance team of 5 people, including student billings and government reporting for Fee-Help. My administrative duties also covered managing OHS and HR.

At Costello's I was responsible for the all the finance and management accounting areas. The regular stock-takes of the opal diamond and pearl jewelry meant I was able to acquire a deal of knowledge about Australian gemology.
