- Accountable for fundraising, volunteer recruitment and driving membership for the Virginia Central Service Area located in Arlington County, Alexandria City, Fairfax City, Fairfax County, VA.It is the largest service area in the National Capital Area Council with 12,929 youth and 346 scouting units.- Hire and manage a successful staff earning Gold status recognition within each of their districts for 2016. - Develop and manage service area expense budget for program training activities, events and camps.- Recruit, mentor and support volunteer leadership in setting and meeting the strategic goals of the council. - As a member of the NCAC’s strategic planning committee, advise a volunteer-led, 23-district, council-wide committee on membership. - Develop and implement fundraising events to support the financial needs and goals for scouting in Northern Virginia.

Ran the council’s first Venturing Camporee in 2012 with over 300 participants. - Raised over 110k for scouting through Frederick County’s special event, the largest sum to date
