Dr. Henderson is an experienced educational research, assessment, evaluation director. She has spent over 25 years working to improve educational outcomes in education and public health.As a project director on both national and state wide research and evaluation programs she has handled multi-million dollar projects, supervised and mentored research and administrative associates, and been responsible for training and evaluating both staff and clients. With her colleagues, she was responsible for leading the redevelopment of a statewide health and climate survey of K-12 students, teachers, and administrators based on the National Youth Risk Behavior Survey.In partnership with researchers at large land grant universities, she secured sustained funding through the National Science Foundation, The Institute for Education Sciences, National Institute of Health, and state education and health agencies. As a researcher and evaluator in her proposal development and formative evaluation work, she guides clients to fully articulate their visions of program success. Through her excellent communication and analytical skills, she leads clients to set up achievable goals and to collaboratively reflect upon both processes and outcomes.
