Manage new drivers as they come out of orientation. Support and assist as they learn the system.

Manage a fleet of 45 to 55 Lease Purchase/Owner Operators. The job consists of working with other planners in finding profitable loads for the fleet along with planning them myself. Helping them to understand various ways they can make all loads profitable, both shorter hauls and heavier loads. Working to get them home when they would like.

Assisted the Safety Director in reviewing files on new drivers coming into orientation.. making sure that the files had all the documentation in them required by DOT. Worked with Licensing and Permitting for both Roadrunner and CI Whitten. Assisted with logs. Loss and Damage claims.

started in accounts receivable in 1982, became administrative assistant to the AVP of Revenue Accounting. Handled claims involving over payment or duplicate payments, Worked the credits off of the accounts receivable ledgers, worked with Credit and Collections also.

managed a shift of anywhere from 10 to 30 people depending on the time of day. Shift would consist of managing both the front line (customer area) and the back line (grill area). Taking care of deposits, counting and controlling waste. Customer service and satisfaction. Quality in all areas.
