I am risk assurance professional with over 10 years of experience across financial services and non-financial services industries. I have had experience in both professional services and commercial settings. My key strengths are stakeholder management, end-to-end process and technology risk and controls design as well as assurance. I have good experience preparing Board reports and presenting to Boards. I have a Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) and Masters in Business. I am a Certified Practicing Accountant (Australia).I am a self starter and I have a good ability to learn new things and processes. Some examples include, Through self help books, I taught myself SQL coding in order to write SQL scripts to enable data extraction and SQL report writing. I achieved this during my role at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.Through research and on the job client experience, I taught myself how SAP data structure works and how to extract data from SAP to enable data analytics. I achieved this during my role at Ernst & Young. Through children’s Chinese literature, I am teaching myself how to read and write Chinese in order to empower my son to learn the Chinese language.Through research and on the job learning as a parent, I enable weekly art invitations to empower my son’s confidence and ability to think outside the box.
