I am a diagnostic radiographer passionate about radiography and the contribution radiographers can make to health care.I spent many years in the NHS as a clinical radiography manager and a short time as a lecturer at a HEI. I now work at the professional body for radiographers and associated professionals, The Society of Radiographers. I work with stakeholders and members to develop professional standards, support the profession and improve the quality of patient care.I am values driven individual who doesn't suffer fools but is prepared to see the best in everybody.I am convinced that leadership skills and development are required for all professionals. Human factors require greater consideration in health care.In my spare time I enjoy 1940s re-enacting - hence the photo! I drink good quality real ale and enjoy cooking from scratch.
