Managing whole R&D Dept

Directing all women's styles both careers and casuals in woven and knit.

In charge of whole woven department across all genders (women, mens, junior, kids) for U.S, EU, and Japan market.Collaboration for All US junior division including active.

 Launch a new kids and junior brands ‘Topstuff’ and shop domestic and internationally for trends and inspiration.Traveled to WalMart U.S and Walmart Canada headquarters for seasonal design presentation with VP. Communicate between makers and execute line samples in a timely manor. Provide direction and guidance, and work with cad designer and graphic designer to meet the deadlines. Actively participates in the conceptual development of product lines; provides recommendations regarding seasonal themes, edits to line, new concepts, etc. Ensure that product is consistent with market trends as well as business strategy; interprets trends as it relates to market demands, company and brand image.

 Creates own kids and junior brands collaborate Zara’s, Macy’s, Walmart PB brands In conjunction with product management team, develop and finalize all product details, including fashion sensibility, functionality, manufacture suitability, price/costing awareness, packaging, prototype development, etc . Conducting in fittings and complete prototype corrections. Facilitate general communication across fit, production and sales departments. Execute and supervise in all aspect from concept through finish product. Involved in entire design process. Provide direction to graphic/cad designer, delegate project and provide guidance to lower level designers.

 Successfully built kids, juniors and women’s sportswear lines. Closely research market trends and buyer requirements to create in-demand seasonal designs for mid-tier department stores, sports specialty stores, and mass merchants. Develop and sustain solid collaborations with overseas agents and producers; oversee execution of designs from drawing board through completion. Team with production and sourcing department staff to ensure highest “price / value” equation for products in all markets.
