Originally competitors, both companies are long established, with A. Roy Bomford and Co. setting up in Cheshire in 1922 and WBM established as a partnership in Staffordshire in 1985.  The two companies were brought together in 2006 and, as a family owned and managed business, have continued to go from strength to strength.
