Leading the Senior Appointments team to provide a bespoke recruitment service for senior academic and leadership positions

- overseeing recruitment to senior academic roles across all subjects, partnering with senior leaders in the departments and divisions to attract the very best global talent- developing recruitment strategy and advising on best practice by working with colleagues at Oxford and across the wider HE sector- supporting the Council for At-Risk Academic (CARA) Fellowship programme at the University of Oxford

partnering with the University's departments and divisions to recruit to the most senior academic and leadership roles, providing strategic advice and guidance to ensure that the University recruits the best possible talent from the global market, and supporting a variety of projects within the central HR function and with departments and colleges to share and develop best practice in recruitment across the whole University.

- working in the Senior Appointments team, administer the recruitment of statutory professors and some of the top administrative roles across the university, including processing applications, requesting references, liaising with selection panels, and arranging accommodation for candidates.- run the university's Welcome Service, providing assistance for new appointees from point of offer to start date, including help with all aspects of relocation to Oxford: accommodation, schooling, healthcare, banking, childcare- manage the Welcome Service website- liaise with the Oxford University Newcomers' Club to provide support to partners of new university staff- administer the Ambitious Futures graduate training programme at the University of Oxford, including all aspects of HR management, liaising with placement managers, setting up secondments with partner universities, and liaising with the central Ambitious Futures office

Responsible for the planning and delivery of music for Sunday services, including liaison with the pastor and administrator to make suitable selections matching the liturgy and any special additions to the service. Rehearsing and directing other musicians to enhance worship. Planning and playing for special services including carol service, nativity pageant, and outdoor services.

Administration of the Registrar's office, including:- administering arrangements for admissions and scholarships at 13+- organising Open Days and Mini Open Mornings for prospective pupils and their parents- responding to enquiries about the school- maintaining and analysing data relating to registrations and marketing- processing registration payments- commissioning marketing products and assisting in producing marketing materials (print and digital)

Provide advice and guidance to prospective applicants to the University of Oxford.Organise events such as Open Days, subject taster days, conferences for teachers.Visit schools and tertiary colleges across the UK to deliver presentations and workshops to pupils, teachers and parents.Maintain records using a variety of databases.
