I am a highly accomplished strategic communications and marketing professional with over 40 years of experience delivering high-impact and research-based communications, branding and student recruitment initiatives that achieve meaningful results.While at the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, I served as chief communications and marketing officer where I set goals and strategy for strategic agenda priorities. I convened teams of campus representatives for many communications and marketing programs, such as the highly successful Project Graduate to encourage former students to complete their degrees. Most recently, I led the launch of the Kentucky Higher Education Matters campaign, in collaboration with campuses, to create greater awareness through storytelling and data of the life-changing value of higher education.As an entrepreneur for 11 years, my business, Patrick Public Relations, Inc., served about 50 clients, including K-12 school districts, the state department of education, local governments, political clients and membership associations. A big milestone for the firm was working on a successful, multi-year merger of governments to create the City of Clayton.In short, I am guided by an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion to better the lives of Kentuckians.
