In recent years served as interim SVP and Chief Information Officer at Boston Children's Hospital, interim Chief Technology Officer at University of Vermont Health Network, interim Chief Information Officer at Stony Brook Medicine on Long Island and at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. Recognized as the CHIME-HIMSS John E. Gall, Jr. CIO of the Year in 2014. Industry Involvement: As an active member of both HIMSS and CHIME, served on the CHIME Board from 2004-2006. Responsible for their Advocacy initiatives focusing on the national healthcare information technology agenda and fostering CHIME’s partnerships with other national organizations. From 2007-2009, chaired the newly formed CHIME Education Foundation Board which raises funds for scholarships to help develop the next generation of health IT leaders. Fellow status with both CHIME and HIMSS. Served from 2013-2022 on AAMI board including the Executive Committee and as Vice Chair for IT. Previous service on CHIME Policy Steering Committee, Great Lakes Health Connect board and executive committee, and MiHIN board. Coaching: Serve as executive coach, mentor and senior advisor for IT leaders in multiple organizations and have the Linkage Executive Coaching Certification from the University of Michigan and Linkage Inc.
