Works closely with business unit leaders to implement strategic direction, assess business and/or educational needs and identify ways to improve results to align with and impact business unit goals and objectives. Monitors and documents training results through employee progress and maintains records to determine program effectiveness, making recommendations and implementing modifications as necessary.

Assesses training requirements (needs) which may involve conducting interviews and/or designing and developing questionnaires. Designs and develops training courses. Prepares lesson plans relevant to training material. Determines delivery method. Selects appropriate training aids including technical or computer aided media. Conducts (delivers) training courses. Develops and maintains training measurement system. Analyzes data in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions. Adjusts training plans accordingly. Develops and maintain training/procedure documentation.
