I have a widespread knowledge of foreign trade mark issues, and a particular interest in the International Registration system. I act on behalf of a variety of clients with a multinational presence, including those in the entertainment industry, insurance and financial services, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.In addition to my international practice, I prosecute trade mark applications and oppositions at the UK Intellectual Property Office and at the Community Trade Mark Office.For both the international and domestic markets, I have extensive experience conducting clearance searches, providing practical and commercial advice on infringement issues, filing strategy, portfolio management and portfolio review. I have also prosecuted domain name disputes, successfully recovering domain names from cyber squatters.
