I'm an executive and relationship coach in a boutique practice in Coronado, CA (+ virtually). My specialties are:Goal-oriented, short-term executive coaching; career coaching; post-retirement and civilian-career exploration and planning; male psychology; and relationship issues. Testimony coach. I'm an expert in helping people overcome what brings them down, bolster their self-esteem, and thus become better partners and stronger members of their social and professional community. I'm also good at helping people break through hopelessness to see all their options; make better decisions; reinvent themselves; and empower themselves to realize their goals. I graduated from Cornell, Phi Beta Kappa, with distinction in all subjects, then earned my MS and PhD in Clinical Psychology at Northwestern. I wrote my dissertation in three months. My residency was at the University of Washington Medical School, and Harborview trauma center, spinal cord and brain injury and burn units. For over a decade, I was a forensic psychologist in high-profile cases for the City, State, US Attorney’s office (gov), Catholic Church, and conducted many evaluations in corporate employment law, including high-risk, high-stakes situations. My prior executive coaching practice specialized in corporate executives, doctors, attorneys, and judges. I served on the Washington State Ethics Committee, and as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Univ. of Washington Medical School, training psychology and psychiatry residents for many years, including on how to testify in court. I also wrote two novels and a memoir for a top Wall Street investor, and CEO-level speeches. Having worked in different industries, I understand first-hand what it’s like to start from scratch in a new career with zero connections.
