Hi. I am Sue Thomas, mum to two awesome adults and slave to a pair of paranoid cats. I am blessed to have always worked within roles that I love and with people that value, inspire and empower others. I provide support to assist organisations review their safeguarding, engagement, inclusion and anti-bullying policies, and help small and large children’s charities develop/review their constitutions, leadership and management skills and plans. My career, whatever the role, has included working closely with children’s services, Local Safeguarding Children’s Boards and other strategic partnerships. My passion is to work to champion co-production and collaboration between children's and young adult’s services in the public and pvi sectors most of all promoting the 'voice' of children, young people and young adults with SEND. I am an independent member of a local fostering panel; I was a trustee of the Pre-school Learning Alliance including a number of years as Vice Chair. My most recent adventure is as vice chair of the Orchard Community Trust.
