Working with colleagues across 22 local authorities in the East and West Midlands to improve capacity of services to support children, young people and families within the voluntary and public sectors.

Responsible for developing and providing training and guidance on working with partners in vcs and LA to ensure effective safeguarding practice. Includes training and briefings on Working Together 2014, Safer Online, DBS, Safer Recruitment, Ofsted, CSE, Safeguarding for Trustees and developing local safeguarding networks. • Work with senior strategic managers within the local authority to develop a collaborative and partnership focused Children and Young People’s Trust.
