Blackfish is an artist operated gallery with a part-time director, Damara Bartlett. We gallery sit one day per month, work on 2 committees, e.g. Publicity, Installation, New Members, etc. and attend a business meeting each month; we also pay monthly dues. We exhibit our work every 18 to 24 months in either a solo or 2 person exhibit and occasionally we have themed group shows. The opportunity for comraderie and exchange with other artists is a great feature. I love being a member of Blackfish.
