Sue is an experienced consumer advisor with a strong background in clinical governance and quality improvement. After working in the Victorian public service as an executive in public sector reform Sue worked with health and tertiary education services in Victoria to improve people practices. She has also worked with governments in Africa, Asia and the Pacific to strengthen governance at the central policy level, generally located within the Office of the Prime Minister or President. Sue has extensive board experience, having been the Treasurer of the Health Issues Centre and a Director of BreastScreen Victoria, in addition to being a Director of RTV Consulting Pty Ltd. She is an Independent Member of Monash Health's Board Quality Committee. She's a member of BreastScreen Victoria's Quality Advisory Committee to the Board of Directors, a consumer advocate on BreastScreen Australia's National Quality and Management Committee and involved in a number of Monash Health wide steering committees and working groups as a consumer advisor looking to improve the quality and safety of services and the experiences of the patient or client.
