I implemented all operational needs for 9 conferences. I researched and sent RFPs to venues and vendors for each show, while negotiating best pricing, and managing relationships. I maintained a high level of customer service and developed strong relationships while performing Sponsor and Exhibitor fulfillment. I Maintained and managed all operations for 9 shows, including timelines, floor plans, and meeting room assignments, while working closely will all vendors, including AV, hotel and decorator. I set up and maintained spreadsheets to track conference expenses during planning and perform post-show expense review and audits with the accounting team. Working in Salesforce I tracked campaigns and opportunities to ensure accuracy. I engaged with the marketing team to provide details of the events for e-mail marketing and information

As a Conference Director I plan and organize the conference from start to finish. I participate in contract negotiations with the conference venue as well as the sponsors and exhibitors. I set up the online platform for registration and the mobile conference app. By using my organizational and customer service skills I develop relationships with the sponsors, vendors and speakers, as well as those working at the venue. With extreme attention to details, I coordinate the speakers, attendees, shipping logistics, and communication to all. Working closely with a Graphic Designer, I put together the conference guide of details, create and order all signage for the conference, and keep the web site up to date. I also help create marketing campaigns and post to social media platforms using Hootsuite. Working with Mailchimp, I ensure e-mail blasts of information are sent out in a timely manner. For virtual shows, I set up the entire show on a virtual platform, including the schedule, videos and all exhibitor booths.

Developed customer relationships with energy marketing companies. Worked very closely with team of IT professionals creating third party verification scripts and performing platform testing. Worked with clients within their scope and budget. Communicated with call centers to guarantee customer expectations were being met. Saw all projects through to end, from creating verification scripts to overseeing recording and managing timelines with our IT team to guarantee on-time launch of project.

Worked with pharmaceutical companies to develop web sites for new drugs. Managed projects from the close of sale to launch. Traveled to client sights to gather specs and graphics. Entered all work into production with IT team and oversaw all graphic design. Maintained relationship with client after initial launch of site. Tracked success of page and brainstormed new ideas to promote product. Was able to work within the client budget. Worked with marketing companies to perform consumer testing of new web sites.

Was hired to set up a customer service department to handle all customer phone calls and projects at a start up internet company. Managed client expectations, as well as internal expectations. Oversaw the development of web sites and databases for clients.

Worked as an Account Manager and a Recruiter to place candidates in permanent jobs in public/private sector in Washington DC.and surrounding areas. Sourced leads for open positions and actively recruited candidates for the office team.
