Responsible for executing the day-to-day operations of the Washington State Alliance of YMCAs, provide staff support for the implementation of the Strategic Plan, work collaboratively with Alliance Lobbyists to address Public Policy Plan priorities and to pursue funding to provide sustainable resources and opportunities for statewide initiatives. Grantees included: Vancouver Housing Authority (Low-income communities), Washington State University (Hispanic communities), and Children's Home Society (Russian communities). •Established strategic relationships with public housing leaders/residents and collaborative partners.•Identified funding opportunities, developed grant proposals, and submitted federal grants.Program Director, Early Learning Initiative (1999-2007)•Managed C.H.E.F.’s Early Learning Initiative ($300,000 budget).
