Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
CurrentSolomon group, part of Aspire 2 Group, a leading Private Training Establishment in New Zealand.Senior Business Analyst and Intelligence Analyst responsibilities:Investigate and understand data gaps in the current data systems, and apply business analysis skills to implement IT projects in:1. Project managed Student Management Systems (for Non-SAC learners) using Microsoft Dynamic 365 customised functions2. Implemented stakeholder engagement strategy and plans for the institution to engage and record with meaningful outcomes using Hubspot CRM3. Led the development of a student support system, as part of the student journey, supporting student success and guided pathway outcomes.Establish and maintain digital reporting systems (using Power BI dashboards, attendance trackers, and registers) to support Solomon Group monthly financial tracking, operational monitoring, academic quality assurance, and other business reports. Turn raw data into actionable insights with different teams:1. Quality Team: establish monthly reporting on learners’ enrollments, completion (by funding categories), consistency review, withdrawal, LNAAT, and learners’ entry and exit surveys. 2. Financial Team: create monthly (or on request) financial tracking reports on commercial ERP, TEC consumption, budget, and student fees 3. Registry Team: prepare TEC required quarterly, monthly on enrollment submissions for SDR, ITR, Non-SAC leaner, and Fees Free submission. Audit and problem-solve data errors between systems4. Programme Management: compose daily and weekly operational data to monitor high-risk areas, such as attendance, assessment and online engagement activities5. Student Success: implement risk management in pastoral care using traffic system, highlight areas for actions such as mental health and travel which could have high impact on student retention rate6. Youth and Pasifika Services: design and monitor KPIs to help qualified learners with employment and education outcomes.
