During my last semester in the Real Estate and Land Use Program at California State University, Sacramento, I was hired as a Project Assistant for the principal of Rhema Property Advisors to assist with financial analysis, marketing and site acquisition and development in California for a publicly traded senior housing company.Within a year, we were both retained by The GMS Group, a subsidiary of Gruntal & Co., to open a West Coast office for their Healthcare and Finance Division and coordinate directly with the Vice President of Public Finance to develop and finance senior housing projects ranging from $10 million to over $50 million.
