I have a wide range of rural industry experience including Hospitality, Veterinary, Membership Organisations and the Higher Education sector. Positions have included Project Manager and National Engagement Manager as well as running my own rural businesses in Equine Physiotherapy and Air BnB.I am passionate about creating meaningful community engagement opportunities, particularly around education. Highlights in this area so far include:- Assisting to roll out Loch Ness Rural Communities’ award winning Hill to Grill project for secondary school pupils in 2023 alongside DYW West Highland.- Providing opportunities for Perthshire Game and Andersen & Sondergaard Wild Game Charcuterie to educate the public at the Scottish Game Fair and the Great British Food Festival respectively in 2023.- Assisting 3 Sporting Estates to provide fun and educational opportunities for young people (7-15) supported by the charity Connecting Young Carers in 2020 - 2023.Please get in touch if you want to talk about how your rural business can engage more with your community.
