The transition from VP Of Content to VP Corporate Marketing added two new verticals, non-digital marketing programs and expanded staff. While continuing to manage various groups including video production , social media, website programming, verticals, brand management, metadata and select CBS synergy programs the new role requires oversight and development of our corporate marketing programs as well as continued partnerships with the larger Digital Marketing teams.

My Content and Programming team is a key part of the Simon & Schuster Digital Group. I am responsible for: the development and merchandising of content on simonandschuster.com; selection of content included in our newsletters, widgets and partner marketing programs and editorial direction of our content verticals. My team is also responsible for the production of all original video content used in the promotion of Simon & Schuster authors on consumer sites and our own corporate properties. I have been instrumental in the conceptualization and development of enhanced ebooks and other digital product. I am also responsible for the strategic direction and focus of our Author Portal -- an extranet used exclusively by Simon & Schuster authors -- managing both the launch of new features, communication to authors and interaction with publishers and development teams.

Created new and innovative marketing campaigns each designed to increase sales, develop new authors and extend the brands of existing authors. I launched the company’s first video production partnership integrating video as a key component of publisher’s marketing plans; the first online consumer marketing group and key consumer initiatives like consumer book club outreach.

Created all publicity plans for hardcover and paperback authors including all media broadcast (radio and television), online and print. Managed a team of 8 publicists with responsibility for 3 imprints and successfully launched more than 15 national bestsellers.
