Community OfficerBarclays Bank Sep 2001 - Aug 2005Internal Responsibilities –Influences daily key stakeholders e.g. Business Leaders and Community Champions to increase community involvement. To manage, disperse and evaluate usage of – in consultation with local staff. Development of Employee schemes using, a) Team & individual volunteering programme b) £ for £ matched funding for charity ,c) Direct payroll giving – GAYE & Pennies from heaven scheme. Key to success in engaging teams is a Community Champion network supported by the community team. Twice a year Champions were bought together for a workshop – training, inspiring and resourcing. Building the reputation of the CSR programme through forums e.g. Business in the Community and local Chambers of Commerce.
