Island Destinations is a boutique travel group specializing in sales and marketing of luxury hotels, resorts, and villas across Asia, the Middle East, the Maldives, Seychelles, Hawai’i, Fiji, French Polynesia, Central America, Mexico, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. As Director of Asia Pacific, I led the strategic realignment of the division, focusing on talent acquisition, performance management, industry relations, luxury roadshows, and day-to-day operations, including budgeting, accounting, and sales and marketing.During my tenure, I identified travel trends, established partnerships with new resorts, and strengthened relationships to boost market share in Asia Pacific. I started my career with Island Destinations as a Product & Marketing Coordinator and was promoted to Product Manager. As Product Manager, I conducted research of market trends, strategic analysis and negotiated large-scale hotel contracts.
