Management of Open Purchase Requisitions and Open Purchase Order clean-up project.Management of Business Process Improvement function. Reporting and action on Business Critical Controls and Business Critical Activities and BBBEE.Ensuring compliance to Procurement Processes, Policies and Procedures.Ensuring Compliance to Policies, Procedures and applicable Standards for Risk Management. Handling of payment queriesReview and approval of the Procurement Departments invoicesProviding support to Project teams

Establishing, maintaining & executing Forward Pricing Agreements for the mine sites.Facilitating discussions to establish mine sites Forward Price Agreement requirements.Issuing Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) to supplier/the market.Evaluation of tenders based on required guidelines.Providing recommendations to mine sites based on the outcome of the tender evaluations. Negotiation of contract terms. Performing tender analysis and consider all aspects of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model when awarding contracts with the purpose of reducing the cost per ounce, and improving effectiveness and efficiency of production.Completing Forward Price Agreements and Supplier Terms of Reference (STOR) after mine site approval.Gathering market trends and price information from key suppliers and other sources on strategic commodities.Documenting of the processes supporting contracting activities at each mine site, regional and global level, in line with the Supply Chain Strategy.Obtaining the signed contract documents related to the FPA agreement that is in place.Storing and updating the global contracts register. Maintaining global relationships with corporate and global suppliers.Responsible for the timeous updates of price increases on the company’s ERP system.Interfacing with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure tasks were completed on schedule.Keeping abreast of new developments in supplier products and initiative
