With 34 + years experience in health care, Sue MacNeil started her career as a Clinical Dietitian atGuelph General Hospital (GGH). She quickly advanced to a leadership role in Food, Clinical Nutritionand Retail Services, then took on the additional leadership of Environmental Services (EVS), Portering, and Linen Services.Sue enthusiastically embraced the EVS profession, actively participating in CAEM, CHHA and PHO education and networking opportunities to bring strong EVS expertise and leadership to her new role. Sue has been recognized by Senior Management and IPAC staff for sound clinical and business decision-making, building strength in teams, and leading quality and efficiency initiatives within the hospital. In addition to her career, Sue is an avid runner and athlete, having completed hundreds of races, including 20+ full marathons (including Boston!), 50+ half marathons, ultras, triathlons, and many fun-run and sporting events, such as Snowshoe Raids, Ragnar Relays and Golf Tournaments. Sue is currently retired and seeking inspiring work as a consultant to healthcare organizations and suppliers with a focus on her areas of expertise including, but not limited to:- Auditing- Clinical trials- Quality management - Project management- Efficiency improvements- Policy & Procedure Development - Human resources (recruiting & labor relations)Beyond this, Sue would never pass up a fun out of the box opportunity to fulfil a bucket list gig… looking for a chip timer for a destination race?
