Henshalls Insurance Brokers is one of Shropshire's largest independent insurance firms. Based in Newport, Shropshire, the brokerage was founded by John Henshall in 1967. We celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2007.The main types of insurance covers we offer individuals and businesses include private home and motor, retail, manufacture and wholesale, transport and distribution, professional indemnity, construction and property owners.The business is based in beautiful old Georgian buildings on Newport's impressive high street. Gower House was purchased outright by the company's directors in 2006 to ensure the premises remained a well preserved landmark on Newport's main thoroughfare.Following the 1999 MBO, we took a strategic decision not to pursue highly visible corporate sponsorships but to dedicate executive and employee time and financial resources to reach out and touch as many parts of its local community as possible. Henshalls aim is to deliver modest but meaningful support across a wide community base.
