My primary focus was providing a high level of service to the Halton Hills business community; sustaining the Chamber’s profitability; improving and ensuring positive and proactive government and media relations. Additional responsibilities included the delivery of local, regional, and provincial tourism services and overseeing Halton Hills DMODuring my time with the chamber, membership grew by 20% and the number of active volunteers doubled. As well, the Chamber's profile steadily increased in visibility within the community through development of marketing initiatives which I successfully led, including: BusinessLink (a quarterly magazine), a weekly ENewsletter, a yearly Business Directory, Twitter and Facebook.
