Leads the expansion and support of asset building coalitions and partnership development to cultivate and broaden a group of stakeholders from around the state who are committed to asset building programs such as financial education, financial coaching and tax preparation. Leads CASH’s efforts to provide professional development for social service providers and oversees special initiatives that serve unique audiences, such as youth with disabilities. Serves as CASH's representative on several state Commissions to represent the individual consumer voice such as Maryland Cybersecurity Council. As part of the management team, I work to ensure that CASH is a continuous learning organization whose work is often the subject of University based research with demonstrated impact on the field. As Director of Financial Education under the previous Maryland CASH Campaign, I developed and managed our Financial Education programs, created our Financial Coaching program, provided practitioner training and helped to establish CASH as a leader in the financial health field. I also provided direct financial education and coaching to clients in substance abuse recovery programs, domestic violence shelters, community colleges, and other community-based settings.

Assist organizations with program management, such as managing the H1N1 Flu Hotline for Montgomery County Health & Human Services. Develop comprehensive outreach/communications plans for such clients as the University of MD's Extension Service and assist with the development and evaluation of financial education programs for Maryland CASH Campaign and American Financial Services Association (AFSA).

Investigated and resolved thousands of consumer complaints resulting in over $2 million in restitution to consumers. Implemented comprehensive outreach programs to prevent consumers losing money to deceptive trade practices. Assisted in the creation of the Montgomery County Child Passenger Safety Task Force which engaged county agencies and community partners to standardize and implement one of the first car seat check programs in the country. Developed and supported local coalitions such as SAFE Kids Montgomery and CAFE (Coalition for the Advancement of Financial Education), Montgomery MD. Served as the Consumer Public member of various state and local advisory boards, including Maryland Higher Education Commission's Secretary's Advisory Council and Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition.
