Psychiatric and Addiction treatment center: adults and adolescents. Recreation Therapy Liason/Rep for the adolescent unit. Specializing in stress management, meditation, assertiveness skills training, self & body awareness, and simply teaching these beautiful beings how to find joy in their daily lives.

Adolescent Chemical Dependency Recovery Center.Integrating these awesome kids into their community by teaching how to (re)discover joy in the real world without abusing drugs and/or alcohol. Mostly we played loud rock & roll and head-banging music while driving a huge van, bowling, hiking, climbing, shopping, playing in parks, art appreciation, picnics/pizza with thoughtful conversation, and caught some movies out in the community. We practiced kindness, compassion, and good manners too :)

Long-term, all-male adult in-patient population. Created wellness classes, recreation outings, and taught stress management for individuals and groups. Planned and implemented daily yoga classes, one-on-one integration into the community for Vietnam Vets, off-site fishing trips, and organized neighborhood field trips and walking excursions.
