To manage the Prospects Award boards as appropriate. Develop,organise and deliver training sessions/events for staff from schools, colleges, training providers and other professional organisations in relation to all aspects of CEIAG provision. Act as supporter and assessor for institutions for the Quality in Careers Standard. Promote innovative approaches to CEIAG.Provide paid consultancy to learning providers on improving their CEIAG provision.Researching, writing, editing and proofreading careers education resource materials. Developing, researching, writing, editing and proofreading careers related website content for internal/external contracts. Understanding and able to articulate careers education policy and trends, curriculum change and government directives. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a range of careers related experts and contributors.

Develop, support and help to manage all aspects of the Quality Award for CEAG – including supporting institutions and acting as assessor and chairing one of the regional boards. Write original, accurate copy for a wide variety of national and local printed careers publications, for young people, their parents and carers, teachers and other professional advisers. Also writing and managing content for the Connexions Sandwell, Connexions Wolverhampton websites, for part of the National Careers Service website and for the Skills London event. Take a full part in every stage of development of each product – from consulting with stakeholders, submitting copy and/or ideas, getting value for money, writing, amending and finalising content, supporting the design, proofing and “signing off” stages – to ensuring that distribution and use of the end product is effectiveSupport colleagues in other areas by proofing and editing their information products as requiredDesign, deliver and evaluate training for a variety of audiences, including teachers, co-ordinators, Careers / Personal Advisers, training providers, youth workers – on any topic related to careers, the careers curriculum and IAGProvide bespoke CEIAG consultancy support for partners as requiredWriting practical action plans and strategies to support individual institutions with improvement
